(Pocono Record) — When Hillary Clinton was on the campaign trail in 2008 and spoke at Scranton High School, the line to get tickets a few days before her appearance stretched about 1,000 people long.
Monday’s line to grab the available free tickets to President Barack Obama’s speech Wednesday was noticeably shorter — about 225 people were waiting when the doors opened for the distribution.
“It’s a little disappointing to see that,” said Cathy Kneeland, 64, of Scranton, who showed up more than three hours early to stand in line and found herself second. “You would think more people would want to see the president speak.”

[h=2]Christie To Obama: “What The Hell Are We Paying You For?”…[/h]
Calling Obama “a bystander in the Oval Office,” the outspoken New Jersey governor said the White House spent the weekend tossing out a whole lot of “spin” about the supercommittee’s inability to come to an agreement before the Nov. 23 deadline.
“I was angry this weekend, listening to the spin coming out of the administration, about the failure of the supercommittee, and that the president knew it was doomed for failure, so he didn’t get involved. Well then what the hell are we paying you for?” Christie said during a press conference in Camden, N.J. “It’s doomed for failure so I’m not getting involved? Well, what have you been doing, exactly?”

, December 6, 2011 @ 4:11 pm | Union Boss Invokes Occupy Wall Street In Obama Endorsement: “The Only Choice For The 99 Percent”..

I agree. He is the only choice for 99% of the brain-dead union zombies because they’re told to vote for him.
(The Hill) — The largest public employee union in the country endorsed President Obama for a second term on Tuesday.

With 1.6 million members, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) is considered one of the more powerful unions in the country, and it has long been allied with Democrats.

The union echoed the rhetoric of the Occupy Wall Street movement in endorsing Obama’s reelection bid.

“President Obama is the only choice for the 99 percent. We must put people back to work, make the 1 percent pay their fair share, and protect Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security,” said Gerry McEntee, AFSCME’s president, in a statement.

(ABC News) — President Obama’s uphill battle to re-election is getting steeper.

A report released today by the centrist think-tank Third Way showed that more than 825,000 voters in eight key battleground states have fled the Democratic Party since Obama won election in 2008.

“The numbers show that Democrats’ path to victory just got harder,” said Lanae Erickson, the report’s co-author. “We are seeing both an increase in independents and a decrease in Democrats and that means the coalition they have to assemble is going to rely even more on independents in 2012 than it did in 2008.”

In eight states that will be must-wins in 2012 — Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina and Pennsylvania — Democrats lost 5.4 percent of their registered voters while Republicans lost 3.1 percent. The number of independent voters in those states jumped

Anyone notice that his hair is much grayer ?
Probably another tactic to show the general sheeple how much over worked this job is making him.

It's very common for presidents to visibly have graying hair. Most of them are in the time of their life when a man's hair turns grey. Of course it is also common that stress is a factor as well. With a record number of vacation time for presidents over worked for him is a myth.

Tuesday, December 13, 2011 @ 9:25 am | Dem Rep. Dennis Cardoza Rips “Arrogant” Obama, Says He Behaves “More Like a Professor”…

We need more of this internecine warfare between Democrats, much more.
Via The Hill, op-ed by Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-Calif):
After observing President Obama for the last three years, it has become obvious to me that the President might prefer to be a university professor rather than do the job he holds today. While he may not realize that he feels this way, the evidence is very clear to those who work with or watch him closely.

Let me be clear, I’m not trying to disparage professors. But anyone who wonders why the President is not crushing the weak Republican field only needs to examine how President Obama has behaved more like Professor Obama: [...]

Early in his administration, President/Professor Obama repeatedly referred to “teaching moments.” He would admonish staff, members of Congress and the public, in speeches and in private, about what they could learn from him. Rather than the ideological or corrupt “I’m above the law” attitudes of some past administrations, President Obama projected an arrogant “I’m right, you’re wrong” demeanor that alienated many potential allies.

Furthermore, the President concentrated power within the White House, leaving cabinet members with no other option but to dutifully carry out policies with which they had limited input in crafting and might very well disagree. From my experience, this was especially true in the environmental, resources, housing and employment areas. Not by coincidence, these areas have also been responsible for much of the President’s harshest critiques.

One former administration official told me directly that the people in the White House “NEVER TALK TO REAL PEOPLE.” Another former Obama staffer confided to me that it was clear to him that the President didn’t mind giving speeches (lectures), but really avoided personal contact with members of Congress and folks outside the beltway.

“He doesn’t seem to derive energy from spending time with regular people the way Clinton did. He rallies to give speeches for the big crowds, but avoids individual contact,” the former staffer recalled. This “arms-length” attitude extends to top decision-makers in the President’s Administration. A senior housing official recently told me that, despite the fact that he was responsible for crafting policies to stem the foreclosure crisis, he had personally never met with a homeowner who had been foreclosed on.
