I don't know about all that, but I can tell you that there has been very little done by any federal agencies in the area (at least on the ground operations). They are finally slowly starting to show up a little a week into it. It was amazing though watching the efforts of all the private helicopter operators in action in the Swannanoa area. Hearts with Hands and Samaritan's Purse also doing a good job. Most amazing though is the mom and pop shop owners along side of the residents of the community coming together to provide what they can even when their own properties have been damaged or destroyed. These are people who could care less what Trump or Harris have to say; they just need help to start reorganizing themselves and what's left of their communities.
