Stop, you're high.

Obama is a Socialist? Duh!

Hillary is a Socialist? Duh!

Reagan wouldn't be elected as a Democrat these days.

Not sure what you mean with Reagan. Reagan was a good conservative, but Cruz is a better conservative.

If you don't recognize Obama and Hillary's far far leftism, then it's just shows how far left you are. You can't even see it.

If you don't recognize how far Obama and Hillary fit 'just right in' on the RIGHT, then you're confused.

Dude, I'm not getting you right now. Explain how Obama is on the right. I've never heard "Obama" and "right" in the same sentence.

OK.

You're listening to Beck and Limbaugh, so I can see your confusion.

Let's define terms:

What do you consider 'right'...

Do you think Bush Jr. was 'right'?

Here's a thought experiment: subtract PP and abortion and support for the LGBT community...

Now fuzz your eyes...

Tell me how H. Clinton and Obama aren't very different than Bush Jr.

Obama has killed more terrorists than any President in history.

Guy has a hard-on for drones, and Hillary would be worse...of the two, she's way more hawkish.

Both support Wall Street and Corporations to a fault.

Again...take out the icky women's issues and that TOTALLY INSANE idea that non-heteros should be treated like PEOPLE, and Obama has out-Bushed on the 'right' equation.

Hillary would be even worse...Thatcher in a pant-suit.

Well he's responsible for the needless deaths of thousands of American soldiers and civilians in the middle east. So in that respect he has a lot in common with his predecessor.

You know Reagan supported gun-control, abortion rights, and higher taxes on the rich?

Wouldn't even make it through a Republican vetting process these days, much less get elected.

Both parties have moved right.

Where's the center?

Your hands are sometimes forced by the realities of the office and the world. Even a hard leftist is going to have to do things that might not fit in with their Utopian ideology.

If you really look at Obama and Hillary as on the right, does this make Bernie just left of center to you? You are sounding so far left, I need binoculars to see you. What is it that you're suggesting a true leftest would be?

For the record, W Bush was also too liberal. Second biggest spender in history after Obama. You're looking at a couple of issues like some military action to define people. Gotta look at the whole picture.

You're just making my point.

No one who ever considered themselves 'liberal' would call Bush Jr. 'liberal'.

If you consider Bush Jr. a 'liberal', that's not me moving so far left, that's you somehow ending up super-right.

I consider myself 'center'.

I have a suggestion:

Both Limbaugh and Beck make their money just like old-time radio shows did, by selling products.

Maybe not the best source for information.

Watching you brush off the needless deaths of thousands of people is almost amusing. Foreign policy is still the biggest issue for a lot of voters. Especially the ones who understand the president's power should be limited, and foreign policy is the issue they have the most power over. For those of us who lean libertarian, you'd be a fool to vote for any Republican or Democrat seeking the nomination right now.

I get most of my news from the liberal media. If you took a look at my phone's bookmarks, it's New York Times, CNN, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

How is Bush a conservative? The foundation of conservatism is keeping government small and fiscal responsibility, aside from Constitutionality. He grew government to the biggest level ever to that point. He began wars because of 911. His intention was to be a domestic policy president when he ran.

Considering yourself center is laughable, sorry to say. From a guy who admits being left of Obama saying you are center is living in a different reality. I really can't even believe what you're saying. I suppose Fidel Castro was center too?

He's not a conservative, he's a Republican. They all run on small government and fiscal responsibility. Then they get in office, and do what Republicans do.

If you want a good laugh, you should really go back and look at what Bush promised when he was running and compare it to what he did in office.

Not brushing it off, just noting that foreign policy is one corner of many issues. And while Obama has been forced to keep the wars going, his foreign policy is clearly left. He is fighting politically correct. Won't name the enemy. Ties the hands of our military with ludicrous rules of engagement. Tells the enemy when we plan to finish and tells them what we won't do. Continues to believe you can sit down with barbarians and have a conversation about peace...

Bush told the "enemy" when we planned to finish, we've been over this so many times. Try to keep up.

As to rules of engagement, the guy has been dropping bombs on civilians from the sky for his entire term.

And that's the problem with Republicans, is the establishment way of doing things. He was establishment.

This is why we are witnessing the current election cycle. The establishment created Trump and Cruz. Trump has the populist/nationalist wing and Cruz has the conservative wing. Anyone but establishment Republican says the voters.

"Anyone but..." pretty much sums up Trump's whole campaign. No one cares about his history as a Democrat. All they know is they're pissed off and he seems to be pissed off too. The Republican party is so lost and confused. I have to admit I'm loving the theater.

And you think it's pretty over on the Dem side? You have a battle between running as progressive or moving socialist. The Dems are having difficulty defining themselves as well. There's many factions under the Republican tent. Just shows that many people have independent thoughts on so many issues. Would be scary if everyone thought the same.

By your measure of the definition of 'Conservative', we've never actually had a Conservative President, unless you want to include B. Clinton, who actually made a stab at paying down the national debt and left office with a surplus.

By your measure, we've never had a 'Conservative' President, since every President has grown the guvment.

And I do consider myself as 'center', but not in a vacuum.

Bush Jr. was to the left/right of me.

Obama is to the left/right of me.

H. Clinton would be to the left/right of me.

Trump would be ?

Cruz would be to the right of me.

You are to the right of me.

Ah, I see, you're one of those just vote for the least worst candidate people. No use in talking to you about conservative principles then I guess. (R) is the choice you're looking for, nothing to see here, more of the same, business as usual.

The closest to a true conservative was Calvin Coolidge.

Clinton never actually had a surplus or produced the numbers widely talked about. Mainstream media myth.
Plus, it was leadership of Gingrich that led to any cuts we did see.

.............................National Debt......Deficit for year
FY1993 09/30/1993 $4.411488 trillion
FY1994 09/30/1994 $4.692749 trillion $281.26 billion
FY1995 09/29/1995 $4.973982 trillion $281.23 billion
FY1996 09/30/1996 $5.224810 trillion $250.83 billion
FY1997 09/30/1997 $5.413146 trillion $188.34 billion
FY1998 09/30/1998 $5.526193 trillion $113.05 billion
FY1999 09/30/1999 $5.656270 trillion $130.08 billion
