UPS absolutely HATES negative press.

I have seen UPS cover the logo on a truck after an accident.
I have seen UPS allow employees, who have stolen $36,000 in money orders, multiple IPads and the like, resign and pay them their accrued vacation time and not prosecute in order to keep it out of court and out of the public eye.

Be assured, it was no mistake to get the media involved in the Maspeth firings and it may very well have been the straw that broke UPS's back.

It was in the media before Hall went there. Why didn't they put them back prior to Hall?
