You're getting off topic again. Let me remind you the topic for discussion is the eventual location of HQ2 , why Charlotte which was considered by quite a few as a sure bet was dropped and given the huge concessions package they want would it be a fair trade off? In the interest of full disclosure my hope would be that if it's going to be a fair trade a city in the Mid-Atlantic region or New England would win and yes I bought shares of AMZN in October at 745Considering our 401 only has about 10 choices besides the Target Funds, just how much research are you doing? Stick with Primecap, Wellington, Windsor and retire comfortably
No fella. You were bragging about your investment expertise. Now that I showed you to be nothing close to that you want to change the subjectYou're getting off topic again. UPDATE.......Charlotte has been eliminated. Widely believed that the decision was based at least in part by it's vulnerability to hurricanes.
Minneapolis, Minnesota was taken off the list too. I can't believe they don't want to come here and freeze their asses off.
More proof bacha doesnt have the inside info he claims to have.Raleigh, which is just as vulnerable to Charlotte, remains.
Vegas odds have Nashville as the most likely city.

What's the matter? Don't you remember these comments earlier today? What does this have to do with the original topic?Don't forget bacha was the person bad mouthing FDX stock and saying it was just a matter of time before it started a downward trend. Seems like that was over $100 increase ago. Kinda shows he knows very little.
The guy who is in mod queue, whose posts have to be approved by a moderator. Lol.Who is this individual who won’t shut up that you folks are referring to???
I ain’t seein’ nobody![]()
When you look at the laundry list of concessions and publicly funded amenities they want you might better off it they didn't come.So is Los Angeles.
You seem to forget you were bragging about your investing skills. Now you keep changing the subject. What's the matter? Don't you remember these comments earlier today? What does this have to do with the original topic?
I hate to say you are lying, so I will just say you are mistaken. You're getting off topic again. Can't have some 50,000 high paying jobs corrupting our fair city. Harrumph, harrumph. When you look at the laundry list of concessions and publicly funded amenities they want you might better off it they didn't come.
Obviously you didn't look at the concessions they want. Secondly, what to you consider to be "high paying"? The city of Philadelphia had to hoark up a one billion dollar hairball worth of concessions just to remain in consideration . Eventually you'll reach a tipping point . The point where you're giving more than you're getting. Can't have some 50,000 high paying jobs corrupting our fair city. Harrumph, harrumph.
Amazon is calling them high paying. What's 50,000 X $70k? $100k?Obviously you didn't look at the concessions they want. Secondly, what to you consider to be "high paying"? Just look at the wonders that's done to San Fran. Tons of rich tech folk moving in and driving housing costs through the roof. What's not to love? Can't have some 50,000 high paying jobs corrupting our fair city. Harrumph, harrumph.
