The FBI wanted Comer to come to their location to view it. He told Sean Hannity if they did it would be heavily redacted. The possible contempt of Congress charge seems effective.

From what has been said the thing redacted at this point was the informants name. Comer's concern was that Wray would've heavily redacted the entire document. This was a FBI produced document in 2012. There's no secret plot to take down Biden. A whistleblower alerted Comer to its existence and initially when asked about it FBI Director Wray denied it existed. He wasn't aware that Comer and Grassley had already viewed it. But they want possession of it which Wray has resisted and Comer is now going through with contempt of Congress charges.
