There is nothing wrong with giving a company a bad review. The problem comes in if you threaten to not change it unless they give you something in return...aka extortion.

im not forcing them to give me anything in return, but if they want to do something to make it up then it will affect whatever reviews ive given them.

If the only reason they’re saying that is because it was free, and not because it’s a good product, yes. What good is a review if it was bought and is not an honest one?

i dont know, youre probably right to some degree, but i semi trust amazon reviews. ive bought headphones recently from them and well see how the durability holds up to the glowing reviews.

Obviously you would have to look it case by case. Companies give Away products all the time for advertising. Personally, I contact the BBB for a service business.

Only time I've used the BBB was to get money from Comcast. Basically what you're calling Ricky out for as extortion.
