A significant number of black and Hispanic voters identify as moderate/conservative, and Sanders has made far more inroads with non-white voters than candidates generally seen as moderate in the media, like Buttigieg and Klobuchar

People forget, or maybe never knew, that Bernie for decades attracted substantial independent and even moderate/conservative support in Vermont - both in his numerous victories for the House and then the Senate. He ran, after all, as an Independent:
