Bank of America withdrew from a Shakespeare play for being "offensive". Here's things BoA sponsored they didn't find offensive.

this is what coming down the pipeline for us all:

The Guardian: Abuse & Low Pay at Ivanka Trump Indonesian Clothing Factory
HeadlineJun 14, 2017
A new investigation by The Guardian has revealed workplace abuse, grueling production targets and deplorably low pay at an Indonesian factory that makes clothing for Ivanka Trump’s label. Many of the female workers at the factory in West Java say the pay is so low, they live in constant debt and can’t afford to live with their own children. This comes as three Chinese activists with the group China Labor Watch continue to be imprisoned after they were arrested while investigating labor conditions at a factory manufacturing Ivanka Trump brand shoes.

regarding the UPS shooting, alot of people really dont like their jobs, and it should be a major red flag that something is seriously wrong with an economic system when a majority of workers want to do something one way, but the company tells them to do it another...its undemocratic and it happens all the time because our system is wrong.

But I get a 4600% profit margin, working less hours, at zero risk. I can walk at any time. And if I choose retire at 51, I can. I hold all the cards at my job.

you are losing more than you are gaining. primarily the ability the right to say you live in a free society. when you take orders 40 hours a week (or more in the case of UPS), the word freedom is meaningless. capitalism has all the workers taking orders from a few people, just like slavery, feudalism, and state socialism.

if you are so sure capitalism is the best system, then you should be an expert on the alternatives like worker cooperatives.

capitalism outsourcing the jobs, and automating which puts all the gains in the shareholders, is destroying america, and itself as it relentlessly plunders the environment which sustains the system.

we had a union barbeque at my job the other day and i asked the union rep and the other lady how much do they profit off my labor every hour. they couldnt tell me. can you tell me how much UPS profits off of you every hour? if you knew you'd be very pissed off.

im writing a letter of reference for an employee who was fired before he became a union man because he is lazy (i call it militant) and they are going to fight it at arbitration. if it was me, every worker would be a militant.

i love how some workers are so passionate about their jobs that they snitch on others or that they get aggravated by the slow ones. its like they forget that they are wage slaves, paid by the hour, and it doesnt really matter how fast or slow they work.

You have no answers to basic questions about coops. You don't understand them yourself. I have many reasons why a coop won't work for me. The employees are the board. Which means many partners. More hassle. What happens if Ricky doesn't get his way? Do you realize how difficult it is to have 2 partners to agree? And many are low paying. Can you find me a coop that pays 90K +? Can you beat 4600% profit margins?

Easily said when you have no responsibility, no life experience, and have nothing to lose.

ive listened to a ton of richard wolff's economic update radio programs which discusses coops, in addition to gar alperovitz talking about them.

And you still can't explain coops. Actual facts of financials. What if your bosses were in your coop? Would you still have a say in your work? The last thing you posted with Wolff was about 10 years old and so far history has proven him wrong. Hey, I heard Bill did not have sexual relations with that woman.
