you are losing more than you are gaining. primarily the ability the right to say you live in a free society. when you take orders 40 hours a week (or more in the case of UPS), the word freedom is meaningless. capitalism has all the workers taking orders from a few people, just like slavery, feudalism, and state socialism.
You have no answers to basic questions about coops. You don't understand them yourself. I have many reasons why a coop won't work for me. The employees are the board. Which means many partners. More hassle. What happens if Ricky doesn't get his way? Do you realize how difficult it is to have 2 partners to agree? And many are low paying. Can you find me a coop that pays 90K +?
