I went to the Kingsport, TN show today talking to some folks about some votes.
Never thought about buying or selling, didn't even have a table. I worked Saturday and got stuck to boot.
In walked this Hi Power and it's one I didn't have.

I have a S&W 6904 that I really like. You have to truly want to shoot someone to use it...although those extra seconds count.

Thank you all for your support. The election is Tuesday and I was taken off the ballot by Nashville due to the new "law" passed in 2012.
I'm more than pissed that I didn't get to play but it's ok. In a three way primary the incumbent would have walked right back in more than likely.
Now we have a 50/50 chance to get rid of a Sheriff that has gotten too big for his britches.
If he does win I truly believe he will be indicted for using county resources in his election campaign. Time will tell, it always does.
I was raised to say thank you and please. So thank you all for your support.
I love my job most days and this long winter is FINALLY over.

Just curious. Was your trip to MEM a few months ago related to a request for a leave of absence so you could run for the position?

I was interviewing for a Security Specialist position in Greensboro, NC. Just over the hill from 10-E-C. I am 50 and love my job most days, it could be a tad better, I do bleed purple because I have 22 years invested in our company.
My passion in LE and I have been a true Tennessee Volunteer for the last 18 years. I put my badge on in my "free time" between the gun shop and the truck for $1.00 a year, my time, my gas.....but I love it.
Blevins isn't just done yet. TCA 8-8-102 and TCA 2-19-203 are the law of the land....
Now it's really going to get interesting.

My final drop dripped out about 5 or 6 years ago, after one take-away too many (and I had been hemorrhaging for several years prior to that). They keep trying to give me a transfusion from time to time, but never seem able to find a vein.

Thank you. My Mama tried to tell me better. "I didn't raise you to be a politician son". She will be 91 in July and has much more sense than I do.
I understand about seniority. As hourly employees we have two things. Seniority and vacation. I would wager a guess most of us are here for the latter.
I love my job most days....but we all love our time off.
I tried my very best to fight the good fight. Less than 18% of the registered voters bothered to take the time to vote....and I was taken off the ballot to add insult to injury.
It's all good. Life goes on.
The current Sheriff got re-elected for his 5th term and violated the hatch act while he did it.
In Nashville they told me the "law is the law".... now we will see if actions speak louder than words.
