Immigration

The subject never changed. Just as your lame attempt to justify the atrocities committed against the millions of indigenous people of this continent.

What about the atrocities the indigenous (earlier immigrants) committed to each other? Or the atrocities committed against European immigrants? Again, doesn't support your argument so you try to ignore those facts. Was genocide committed in North America? Of course it was. But that is not the same issue as immigration. And the genocide did not occur everywhere and also happened many other places and at different times in history. Even in North America before the Europeans appeared.

I have a question for you, since you obviously don't like White people and since you love to use past history to compare it to today's immigration problem..... How do YOU feel the government, Democrat and/or Republican, should handle the problem? Open arms for everyone?

Just what part of history is not relevant to the present? Those who don't know history are destined to repeat it. As far as immigration reform, there must be a balance between a pathway to citizenship, closing the border and prosecution of businesses that knowingly employ and exploit undocumented workers. Anyone who says we can simply deport the millions of undocumented and close of our entire border, both north and south, simply isn't living in the real world.

No laws until 1920's? So you admit that the European immigrants broke no laws then.
Not unless they were whores or criminals. We had open borders for everyone besides the Chinese before then. We should have open borders now. That's what the Founders wanted.

Anybody see Lawrence O'Donnell on Morning Joe this morning? He had an interesting take on how and why Obama's executive order is legally sound citing case law that included John Lennon and President Reagan.
