Ag is big business in California and makes a ton of profit from not only the cost of labor but the productivity.

I am painfully aware that Ag is big business in California.

And Big Business means Big Lobbying Interests to politicians.

Rest assured that Big Ag is getting the legal, documented labor it needs

They resent the illegals more than us.

That legal Mexican immigrants absolutely despise illegal immigrants from anywhere (including Mexico) is something that I have observed very many times.

Those that are programmed to regurgitate liberal propaganda simply cannot entertain that concept.

Because it doesn't fit The Narrative.

But it’s absolutely the truth.

So, are you for labor? Or, are you for illegals working for pennies on the dollar? You're sending both signals.
I'm for a pathway to citizenship for these hardworking families that are adding to our economy. I also believe pay and working conditions need to improve for them as well. Mass deportation of workers in these industries is a recipe for a recession at the very least.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Here in Az. there are many middle class Latinos, 2nd and 3rd generation. They’re very much against illegals.

You're only lying to yourself if you believe that.

Indeed. Maybe I am wrong. I am not infallible, and I don't know everything.

Or maybe Big Ag needs to 'donate' more to politicians in order to secure their interests.

I have learned that the only source of information I can trust at all is to compare my lifetime of experiences and observations to D and R political narratives. And then see which ones Do Not Match.

That is how I determine who is lying to me the most about the issues that matter to me.

I wouldn't say that at all. Most Mexicans here all have family in Mexico. Obviously they don't despise them based on their paper status.

I would also add what would be considered a poor wage here and it is as an undocumented, is still alot of money to them when they go back to Mexico. Some of it though is basically as close to slave labor as you can get, but they are still not upset about the opportunity because of how bad it can where they might come from and what they are used to.

Literally everyone is for a pathway to citizenship. Most of us believe the application process needs reform. No one should be for illegal immigration, recession be damned.

I believe that is a recipe for the opening of entry level jobs, and affordable housing.

Those are things that need to exist for young people in order to leave their parent's homes, navigate independently, and face the slings and arrows of becoming an adult.

Those things have not existed in my area for a very long time.

Is it coincidence that when those things began to disappear is when I noticed very many things going to chit?

The way I see it is there isn't a lack of jobs but a lack of work ethic that these immigrants have plenty of. In many ways they are more American then a lot of natural born citizens.
