The way I see it is there isn't a lack of jobs but a lack of work ethic that these immigrants have plenty of. In many ways they are more American then a lot of natural born citizens.

On that much, I won't argue with you. I've met some pathetic natural born American citizens that crap on every good thing that comes their way.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.
Well prepare yourself for a recession then.

I'm for a pathway to citizenship for these hardworking families that are adding to our economy. I also believe pay and working conditions need to improve for them as well. Mass deportation of workers in these industries is a recipe for a recession at the very least.
But by your logic if we pay them well and improve their working conditions, things will cost more because they’ll be Americans. How about this? How about we let hard-working nonviolent criminals stay give them a pathway to citizenship and not allow them to vote for 10 years, and just put the Biden/ Harris administration officials in prison for not doing their job and protecting the border? Deal?

It's a proven fact that the undocumented add far more to the US economy than any negative impact. In CA we feed the nation and export all over the world. How you believe that removing that workforce is going to somehow improve the economy and lives of citizens is disingenuous at best.
You guys are saying the millions of unskilled impoverished illegal aliens are a benefit and still can't figure out how Harris managed to lose.

Watching liberals complain that Trump doesn't care about the working man, only to demand that illegal aliens be allowed to remain in the country so that they can be exploited by the corporate overlords because they fear the price of something might go up, is a sight to behold.

“Before the Civil War, the South could be considered "richer" than the North in terms of the overall wealth held by a small elite class of plantation owners who relied heavily on slave labor,”

It’s amazing what a permanent underclass almost slave labor will do for you will make your economy and make you wealthy isn’t that nice?
This is essentially his argument

The GDP of just the southern states alone was 3rd largest in the world at that time.

Ag is big business in California and makes a ton of profit from not only the cost of labor but the productivity. These produce companies will only pass the increased costs of production to the consumer to keep their profits. Don't fool yourself, they know the outcome of removing the undocumented workforce.
These are the same fear mongering arguments that were made with the abolishment of slavery.

Here's the pathway to citizenship: you get deported, wait a few years, then begin the legal immigration process.

Inordinately Right
Some of it though is basically as close to slave labor as you can get, but they are still not upset about the opportunity because of how bad it can where they might come from and what they are used to.
Africa?
Nice to see Democrats getting back to their slave owning roots. These people should be grateful!

If you think that deporting illegal aliens will cause a recession then you're stupid. If you favor trashing the law because you think it's good for your bank account, then you have something wrong with you.
Lol you are the expert. Say something with enough conviction and at least one person might believe you and go from there. Worked for Trump.

Trump’s mass deportation plan could damage economy like the Great Recession, experts worry

The American Immigration Council, or AIC — a Washington-based nonprofit, nonpartisan organization conducting immigration research and policy analysis — estimates nationally, “mass deportation would remove 1.5 million workers from the construction workforce and 224,700 workers from the agriculture industry … about one million undocumented workers in the hospitality industry … 870,400 in the manufacturing industry; 500,800 in general services, which includes things like auto repair, barber shops, and dry cleaning services; and 460,500 in transportation and warehousing.”

The AIC additionally estimates an impact upon the nation’s gross domestic product — the value of goods and services annually produced and sold — predicting, “Overall, mass deportation would lead to a loss of 4.2% to 6.8% of U.S. GDP, or $1.1 trillion to $1.7 trillion in 2022 dollars.” For comparison, the AIC pointed out the economic devastation of the 2007-2009 Great Recession involved a loss of 4.3% of the national GDP.

LOL. Experts!!!

AIC frequently cites and rhetorically supports the work of the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). This includes praising the objectives of SPLC lawsuits,5defending SPLC from its critics,6 and joining with SPLC in litigation.7

The American Immigration Council (AIC) is a 501(c)(3) advocacy group in favor of expanding immigration to the United States and granting legal status to some populations of illegal immigrants. It was founded by the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in 1987. AIC is AILA’s public policy advocacy affiliate.

So is that what happened when we deported millions of illegals during Clinton's presidency?

Do you ever question the propaganda you repeat?
