Equality doesn't include forcing someone to do something that is against their religion. Its a simple idea that is being clowded by the selfishness by certain gays and overly emotional outbursts by their liberal supporters. Comparing blacks getting turned away at restaurants to caterers not wanting participate in gay weddings for religious reasons is.....well......comparing blacks getting turned away at restaurants to caterers not wanting to participate in gay weddings. They are not the same. There is no discrimination on the part of the caterers. And that's crystal clear to those of us that can think logically.

It's highly ironic that special interest legislation designed to cater to the Religious Right has ended up strengthening the push for gay rights and making the GOP look like a bunch of Neanderthals dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

America is changing, the far Right doesn't like it, and now they've been handed a stunning defeat. Once potential financial losses entered the picture, Republicans caved like a house of cards because dollars are always more important than either principle or morality.

You've also inflicted fatal damage on the GOP's Presidential hopes for 2016 because your platform has been exposed for exactly what it is...backward and not at all appealing to the vast majority of Americans.

Excellent work. You've successfully torpedoed yourselves repeatedly this last week, and have made your party look like morons.

Oh it's not an accusation. Not by a long shot. You religious intolerant anti-Constitutionalist.

Everyone is free to worship as they please or not believe in anything. The Constitution provides equal rights for all, if you actually want to read it someday. Maybe one of your kids will go gay or convert to some religion not on your "approved" list. What do you do then?

Gay marriage sounds like an ultra-contemporary idea. But almost twenty years ago, a Catholic scholar at Yale shocked the world by publishing a book packed with evidence that same-sex marriages were sanctioned by the early Christian Church during an era commonly called the Dark Ages.

John Boswell was a historian and religious Catholic who dedicated much of his scholarly life to studying the late Roman Empire and early Christian Church. Poring over legal and church documents from this era, he discovered something incredible. There were dozens of records of church ceremonies where two men were joined in unions that used the same rituals as heterosexual marriages. (He found almost no records of lesbian unions, which is probably an artifact of a culture which kept more records about the lives of men generally.)

What are you still doing here Mr Intolerant? Shouldn't you be calling all of your local caterers and pizzerias and making threats to those that won't participate in gay weddings?

I love how they got all up in arms because they said they wouldn't cater gay weddings, which the Pizza shop has never ONCE had an order for.

So all this protesting is about a hypothetical non-issue that would NEVER come up. Aren't the gays into dramatics and fancy stuff? 2 Dozen pizzas sitting on a table is not something gays would ever go for. That is the ONLY thing that this pizzeria said they wouldn't do. So the VERY "tolerant" left has protested them and are making death threats.

Yep....and it seems like its mostly the Twitterbug, hipster beard toting, living in their parent's basement variety along with the usual liberal nut jobs in the mainstream media that are foaming at the mouth. Just wise up and respect people's religious beliefs and go to another pizzeria or caterer for crying out loud! And whats funny is that if those gays just came in and ordered a bunch of pizzas and said "Oh hey I'm gay" the owners would care less and still serve them. The flakes on the left can't fathom that though. They just can't comprehend that to ask, DEMAND, that they accommodate their weddings might be asking too much. I get that though because I realize that it probably is extremely difficult to think clearly when you are filled with so much emotionally charged hate.

Denver's Azucar Bakery wins right to refuse to make anti-gay cakes
Christian man wanted cakes with anti-gay messages

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...ry-wins-right-to-refuse-to-make-anti-gay-cake
From your link.

The agency's decision found that the baker did not discriminate against Jack based on his creed. Instead, officials state the evidence shows Silva refused to make the cakes because the customer's requests included "derogatory language and imagery."

The baker said "in the same manner [she] would not accept [an order from] anyone wanting to make a discriminatory cake against Christians, [she] will not make one that discriminates against gays," according to the decision.

"The evidence demonstrates that [Silva] would deny such requests to any customer, regardless of creed," the civil rights agency's decision stated.

The decision noted that Silva is Catholic and her six employees include three Catholics and three who are "non-Catholic Christian." It also stated that Azucar Bakery's website states that it makes cakes "for every season of the year," including the Christian holidays of Christmas and Easter. Photographs on the website include cakes decorated with Christian symbols and writing, including cakes with cross decorations and the words "God Bless." One cake was decorated with "Mi Bautizo," Spanish for "my baptism."

WAT?

do you seriously believe in this concept?
Whatever you say bigot. Keep on trucking.

He is absolutely right on the money.

The right wing has demonstrated that it is still the hate mongering group of white people it claims to be. This religious flap has all but sealed the deal for the democrats in 2016.

Unlike the Clinton emails, this "gay scandal" will last for years to come. As each red state comes forward to claim its discriminatory presence in our society, it will be clear to americans that the right wing of this country true intentions are to become more secular and intolerant.

People like you ..OUT... demonstrate through your defense that a nation of intolerance is your goal.

This is why the progressive movement is leaving people like you behind.

TOS.
