Infrastructure Plan big win for Fedex

Has the notion crossed yer mind that the "significant population losses" in yer area are due to people trying to get away from you?

All kidding aside, I would cheerfully send you the population surplus invading my area.

Rich white liberals, and their pet-protected Mexican immigrant entourage.

You'll live the sad, surreal experience of being the stranger in yer own hometown.

At least you'll have the funding and labor to build the landing pads and welcoming center for The Black Helicopters you patiently await.
The people in my hometown are not caught in the grasps of the sheer paranoia you unfortunately dwell in. It's clear that you hold in high contempt rich, white liberals. So which part do you hold in the highest contempt or should I say envy? The fact that they're wealthy or the fact that they're white?

I just want to make friends!
As soon as we actually get ideas from your side. All we've heard from your side for years is..."No., No and Hell No!.
That's the appropriate way to respond to a dumb idea.

You could propose that people beat themselves in the face with hammers, conservatives would say that no, that's a stupid thing to do, and you'd think you won because "At least I came up with an idea."

There's going to be a lot of hammer's swinging once the infrastructure bill starts letting the bids out for long overdue repairs and upgrades and no doubt there will be some job bids awarded in the very same congressional districts held by GOP congressional members who voted against the bill...But of course they'll be right out front with shovels and grinning like possums for the photo op marking the project's beginning.

Imagine how much good we could have done if Democrats actually passed an infrastructure bill, rather than that wasteful trash bill filled with crap no one wants.

The leader of the Republican Senate voted for and seems to be a big fan?
McConnell is a POS and I don't know any Republicans who like him. I hope he gets primaried, but he gets a lot of Democrat votes because of the pork he brings home.

I also hope our intelligence agencies are keeping an eye on him because his ties to communist China are deep. The man needs to lose his job.

Senate vote was 69-30. If a pot hole bent your car rim...you'd be hollering. If an old pole broke off and knocked out your power...you'd be hollering.
If the sanitary sewer backed crapped up into your basement...you'd be hollering.
If a rusted old water main broke off and you had no water...you'd be hollering.
If your flight is stalled on the runway because the old ATC network went down...You'd be hollering.

We simply went on for as long as possible without a major commitment to repair and upgrading of the public services you've taken for granted all your life.... And if faced with a loss of those services for longer than a span measured in minutes, you would be at a complete loss as to what to do.

Democrats have a plan to eliminate poverty.
They will simply print every U.S. citizen their own trillion dollar bill!
Problem solved.
Texas will receive 35.4 billion dollars from the infrastructure bill and making Texas the second highest in terms of money received. So you Texans are going to make out very well indeed in terms of benefits courtesy of a bill those evil, communist sympathizing, pinko ,liberal Democrats managed to get passed into law.. And I quite certain that GOP controlled Texas will have it's hand out making certain that it gets every cent of it.

What do you have to say about that?

There’s not a lot of difference in the Republican Party and the democrat party, outside of social issues. Trump increased the National debt just under 8T. We’ll see about the same from Biden. The Democrats say tax and spend while the Republicans say don’t tax just spend. Until we drastically cut SS/Medicare, defense spending, and raise taxes we’re Ducked.

NO, NO,NO. Democrats have kept people in poverty, THEN they promise to rise them out of the poverty ranks. They get voted into office and by the time they get voted out, their voters are still living in poverty and the voting cycle starts all over again.

So please identify for me just who "no one" Is.
Please identify for me what person wants billions of tax payer dollars wasted on the delusion that the interstate is racist.

I didn't say no one wants an infrastructure bill, I said:

Only 13 Republicans, and they need to go.
So vote them out:
Adam Kinzinger of Illinois
Don Bacon of Nebraska
Don Young of Alaska
John Katko of New York
Tom Reed of New York
Andrew Garbarino of New York
Nicole Malliotakis of New York
Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania
Chris Smith of New Jersey
Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey
Fred Upton of Michigan
Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio
David McKinley of West Virginia

Was it necessary just to attempt to turn a red state blue?

I reject that allegation. And it's clear you are were unable to grasp the nuance of humor.

It's clear that you hold in high contempt rich, white liberals.
Yes.

Neither.

The fact that RWL's are completely insulated (for now) from the negative effects of the toxic laws and policies they create, enable and endorse.

The fact that these policies have driven away local industries and businesses that trained their own workers, and paid living wages. And replaced those jobs with minimum wage, part time hospitality and service jobs in order to support banal, hackneyed tourist traps. Think Country-Bear Jamboree from Disneyland. Everywhere. All day long.

The fact that RWL's and their immigrant entourage have transformed my area into an unrecognizable, gentrified, stratified, hobo infested, over crowded, traffic jammed Hell hole.

The fact that these RWL's bus in and transport their own imported labor (go ahead and guess from where) and building materials from other areas. Which leaves the local people competing for housing, and the local businesses and construction companies disconnected and completely left out of any of the so-called prosperity they claim to be creating. In a nutshell: if you are a local they will NOT hire or buy from you.

I am a native and life-long resident of California.
I have lived, seen, and suffered the negative effects of what concentrated liberal policies have done.
Therefore, I am very qualified to assess them.
You are from, as you call it, the "Jing Weeds."
Maybe you should stay in your lane.
