Fine: ordered, authorized, commanded, directed...whatever term you want to use. Either way, nothing appears to have come from Trump/his White House ordering, authorizing, commanding or directing troops to take action.

Authorize and order mean different things. Authorize means to give permission for something that may be done, order means to give a command for something that must be done. Sorry if English isn't your first language.
Ordering the Army in isn't the same as the National Guard. And in this case the president authorized 20,000 National Guard troops to be used as needed by those in charge of security. In this case that would be Nancy Pelosi as Speaker and outside the Federal Capitol Grounds that would be the mayor of Washington. They refused having the Guard there. Why are there no committees investigating BLM as an organization or what spurred violence? Why is antifa not being recognize as a domestic terrorist organization? There are antifa chapters all through out this country they need to be monitored.
You can do the same to the political radicals on the right that want violence. I have absolutely no problem with those people serving time in prison if they plan political violence. But you need to hold the left wing radicals to the same standard.
