20.000 new jobs are comming your way soon, supplied by an Alberta Pipeline company..... that's not bad...... that would be for us , like 200.000 new jobs, population wise accounted.

You're amazing.....20,000 jobs is 20,000 jobs no matter what your population is. If you got 20,000 jobs, it would be like you got 20,000 jobs.

He'll ask for more gasoline taxes for interstate highway construction which expired in 2009 , we are still charged for because Congress uses that money to support their pork projects; public transportation ( railroads, subways, bus lines, water taxis , bridges to nowhere, and high speed rails ).
Also to reinstate the FAA bill to continue airport construction projects, which also expired under his watch.
Seems like a lot of existing money income bills failed to be renewed under his administration, and that folks is his record to remember came election time.

The republicans are trying to weaken the FAA union, too, as you may know the whole story.
Republicans demand a change that for a union vote to go thru, 51% of all workers need to vote upon it.
Compared to how it is now, that from those that vote, 51% is good enough.
(i.E : UPS has 300.000 union workers in the USA - under the republican new rule - UPS union workers would need more then 150.000 no votes to go on strike).

Meaning, you would need almost everyone, including part timers, people just before retirement, and those that don't care to vote, - to get off their butts, and vote) !

You know, unions will eventually fade away.....like the 8-track. All workers in the U.S. and only 11-13% are in a union.

What I like about this headline " If Congress Would Let Him ".
Darn it he is the POTUS and he has to beg Congress .
This shows that he has no idea how to correctly do his job.
He should be going to Congress and telling them this is how its going to be done.
Then have his staff make backdoor deals to make it a so.

Maybe he should have spent his summer vacation reading up on how LBJ made it look so easy.
