Kevin McCarthy— OUT!

Most of the votes were Democrats. The Repubs who wanted McCarthy out took advantage of the Democrats' eagerness to attack a Republican Speaker.
1) McCarthy reneged on the deals with Democrats that got him elected. So why should Democrats trust him after he broke his word?
2) Even after burning Democrats, McCarthy rejected all of the offers from Democrats that would have kept him Speaker.

Republicans have the majority. Act like it.

Maybe Trump can call Brad Raffensberger and see if he can find some votes for Gym.

Oh yeah you guys hold the majority, makes perfect sense it was the Dems that threw Mcarthy out 🤣🤣

Imagine the situation was reversed:
-Dems controlled the House
-Pelosi was still Speaker
-and "The Squad" (AOC, Talib, Bush etc) pulled the same sort of uprising that removed Nancy from office
that you would be demanding that Republicans vote to keep Pelosi as Speaker?

That got him elected? How many Democrats voted for McCarthy initially?

How can they win with a minority of voters? It takes a majority to win.
Which somehow is the Democrats fault even though Republicans have the majority.

Republican member Matt Gaetz pushed McCarthy off the boat and into the ocean. Democrats offered McCarthy a life vest even though he’d stabbed them in the back. And then McCarthy refused.

But Republicans are blameless and it’s all Democrats fault? You guys are rich.

Now wait a minute. You just said McCarthy screwed the Democrats who put him in power. How is that possible when all the Democrats voted for Jeffries? Only 8 Republicans voted to get rid of McCarthy. The rest were Democrats.

Why should Democrats keep McCarthy in office if he can’t keep his promises to them?

No, let's go back to your statement that he cut a deal with Democrats to become Speaker then screwed them. Didn't happen.

He went back on the bipartisan spending deal he negotiated with President Biden and the Senate to appease the far-right members of his party. He reneged on his promise to hold a floor vote before starting an impeachment inquiry, spending valuable time and resources on impeachment hearings without evidence.

Jeffries blasted the speaker for kowtowing to the demands of far-right members, authorizing the Biden impeachment inquiry without a full vote of the House and overseeing a majority that "hijacked the National Defense Authorization Act and turned the bill into a right-wing wish list full of highly partisan poison pills," among other grievances.

Mcarthy reneged on the deals with conservatives that got him elected. So why would conservatives trust him after he broke his word?

This isn't complicated
The Republican party has been playing grab ass with your ultra left radical extremist Democrat party for too long. It's about time conservatives held them accountable.

You still said that Democrats got him his job to begin with and then he screwed them. The Democrats haven't voted for anyone but Jeffries since Pelosi left. The Democrats aren't going to vote for anyone but Jeffries. The 8 Republicans who wanted McCarthy gone took advantage of that to get what they wanted. That was 4% of House Republicans. So let's get over this idea about the Republicans are so divided.

Then why don’t you have a Speaker?

Oh, that’s right: the mean ol Democrats in the minority.
Nope, the Dems aren't going to vote for anyone but Jeffries. As I've already said the Republicans are divided on how to handle debt. You see Timmy, the House has control over the purse. We are in incredibly serious debt. Some members want assurances that the spending will be reduced. I agree 100% that they need to get their act together. Primarily because you Dems are taking advantage of this politically and the last thing this country can afford in '24 is free spending Democrats back in power.
