Communism destroys the individual in the constant revolution towards the perfect society. It never ends because by definition you'll never get there.

The free society doesn't guarantee results, but allows for the unlimited pursuit of the individual monetary goals. It also respects private property.

Currently American is closer to a socialist system with all the taxes and regulations.
