It is incredibly odd that the LA Times poll is so far off other polls. But then again, Rove was convinced late election night 2012 that Romney was about to win. Some people will just believe whatever the want to believe.
the USC/LATIMES poll isnt a scientific poll. Rather, its an experiment by USC. What makes it unreliable, is that the USC poll uses the same 3200 people night after night, 1600 democrats and 1600 republicans, and each night, these same people are sampled and depending which party affiliation responds in the greater number, the poll will reflect that response.
There have been days when the sample favored clinton, but the numbers showed more democrats responded, but lately, the poll has been losing interest from the original 3200 and the republicans have been a majority of the sample each night giving DRUMPF the lead.
Because of this, its in no way reliable as a "Sample" of the general voting public.
FOX news just the other day explained all this and discounted the accuracy of the USC/LATIMES poll.
Regardless, drumpf supporters will still cling to it as they try to cling to hope.
