Now I’m guessing if UPS has layoffs, it’s a choice who gets laid off. Laying off high paying drivers is more cost effective than letting go low pay PT. They could then hire strictly UPS drivers, no union.

Depends on your building.... In my building it is Building Seniority, so the answer would be NO.What exactly is the seniority order for full timers bumping part timers. Can a full timers with one year bump of a part time with 6 year?
If a full time employee bumps a part timer. Are they guaranteed 40 hr a week and at what pay rate?
