Letitia James mortage fraud?

The NY Law Review Board could remove her license to practice.
Then there's the Ethic Boards about all the weird documents filed.
Every court case she has been even a small part of would be called into question.
The question of limitation wouldn't matter.

Her only option would be to self deport before the US Marshall Service arrives.
I'm all for investigating her. But unless they turn up a crime committed recently about all you can count on is her being voted out of office.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

Lying on a mortgage application? Probably so. Sounds like fraud.

Not to mention the other things she did like declaring her primary residence in another state.
It definitely is a crime. She was able to obtain a lower rate of interest because she lied, not once, not twice but 3 times. Fraud, plain and simple. To even begin to question if it’s a crime is either absurd or shows a complete lack of understanding on how financial institutions work.

I'm trying to get a timeline. Did she do anything within the statute of limitations that she can be arrested for? I don't think declaring her primary residence in another state rises to that standard. If there's anything there no doubt Bondi and team will find it. What gets me though.is I've been spitting into the wind about the Clintons and Bidens for close to a decade over peddling influence and about all it gets around here is ho hum. But let an obnoxious black woman use the system to screw over our candidate and we're all ready to break out the noose. She's small ball all things considered. Absolutely go after her for corruption and fraud. But let's not forget about those at the top. Otherwise we'll get more of the same down the road.

She bought the house in Virginia a couple of years ago and lied on the application. While she was prosecuting Trump for nonexistent crimes.

If she has a primary residence in another state it may not be illegal but should disqualify her from her job.

She should be small fry but has tried to hog all the media attention she could get and has made a career of corrupt behavior. Karma is a bitch.

She should resign. But those people are ashamed of nothing, offended at everything.

It may disqualify her from getting the job but does it disqualify her from keeping it? Where is her physical presence most of the time? New York. She lied on an application in Virginia? Then up to Virginia to pursue that, not New York. If she were an honest person she'd admit she broke the law and resign her position. Highly unlikely that's going to happen. Bondi can only get her on a Federal crime. So will be interesting to see what comes out of this.

i would think you could make that argument if she was a low level prosecuter but she was prosecuting the former president in as high a profile case as you can get and everyone knows where she was every second of every day during that time.

I don't think she gets disqualified from the AG job because she listed her primary residence in Virginia. I think she could be prosecuted for lying on a VA loan application. I doubt the New York legislature will remove her as AG. It's an elected position so I don't think Kathy Hochul can remove her. I'm betting the NY Dems will rally around her and accuse the Trump administration of a political prosecution. The irony in that. At the end of the day can she get prison time for this? Highly unlikely. Might cost her some serious money though.

I don't how she gets removed but as an officer of the court who was prosecuting a real estate fraud case while she was herself engaged in real estate fraud this has the potential to be a real mess and nightmare for NY and the Dems. She signed the last fraudlent document weeks before the trump trial started. those documents were probably still floating out there to await the mortgage settlement date. Probably end up being a nothing burger swept away by a lib court but it could be juicy if more comes out.

Heard tonight she announced investigation into Trump insider trading with the latest ups and downs of the market. This seriously requires popcorn and Diet Coke.
