It's transhumanism.

It's a religious movement at it's core. It's not even a new idea, these concepts like gnostic dualism were rejected by early Christians.

I don't personally think humans are capable of living without religion. Even non religious people typically choose a god to lord over them, whether it be money, fame, status, etc.

Transhumanists, like gnostic dualists, go down a narcissistic road where they attempt to be their own god. Their mind is divine and separate from their body. Anything they think is real even if it is absurdly counter to obvious physical realities.

These types of belief systems are especially troubling when you consider the exponentially fast advancements in AI/VR/AR and tech like neuralink. If they align their delusional beliefs into those technologies I think it takes society and the human race into a very dark weird place.

According to law enforcement, Card recently reported mental health issues including hearing voices and threats to shoot up the National Guard base in Saco. He was also reported to have been comitted to a mental health facility for 2 weeks in the summer of 2023.

Wild that we just let him keep his guns.

I am in favor of extensive psychological evaluation prior to gun ownership and yearly psychological recertification for continued legal ownership.

All this for the benefit and safety of the gun owner.

I believe in extreme restrictions on gun ownership based upon thorough psychological vetting with regular recertification.

I also believe in once vetting is complete there should be extreme freedom and no restrictions on concealed carry for those properly vetted.
