They can’t “become” men or “become” women, they are who they identify as. Why does this have to be some kind of dogmatic and weird thing to you people? Things aren’t always so simple and that’s ok.

Why do our peer countries have such low mass shooting/gun violence rates as compared to our country? Do they have a lot fewer mentally ill people? Or did they take gun laws seriously and made it a priority to keep firearms out of the hands of neophyte or the mentally deranged? Or just by making it really difficult or impossible to possess weapons of war?

Gun control is as American as apple pie. If you look you will understand. Even our founding fathers supported gun control in the years after the Constitution and Bill of Rights was written.

Do me a favor and check out what Jefferson and Madison did around 1824 with gun control for the founding charter of the University of Virginia. Tell me what you discovered.

I know a couple trans Americans. Great people, hard working, etc. They have told me their life stories to some degree. They are who they say they are. Time to let people be people and stop trying to control them about something so personal as gender identity.

They can’t change their sex, no. They can change cosmetically their bodies through surgery to more align their physical selves with their perceived gender. That’s how I understand it. I’m no expert. But there are experts that can explain it better than I can… if you look for them. Trying to rhetorically box me in is kind of lame.

It helps to understand where they are coming from. Some don’t give a about that and just want things to rigidly conform to their worldview and dogmatically cling to it, science be damned. But do what you want, dude.
