The commander and chief of local 804 sits quiet again! I believe we all need to hear from him? a response on the matter!! We deserve that much! Others before him would have been called out for arrogance and being a company toy!!

Others before him wouldn't have the stones to do the things this board has. Some of them even went to certain DM's children's wedding and went fishing together. This group no how to represent the members and not fraternize with management. SO you think Tim should come on here and negotiate on the brown cafe?? They have got things going on this matter.

804brown, I believe local804 has an in house lawyer right? I wonder what is his interpretation on this matter? You are very close to the Eboard right?
Josh P. "In house lawyer" is on record saying the Liam is wrong and that the whole situation is nuts.

Never mind the arbitration about another case. Remember why that case went on for so long. UPS demanded that the union give up totally the right to strike!! Tim and co said absolutely NO!! They would never agree to such a thing. The key to all this is Article 18, Section 2!!

Tell that to the arbitrator if this gets to an arbitration because he or she will read the decision it is ONLY 2 Years OLD.

804brown, you seeing to be enjoying this situation because your man T. Sylvester might be running for the ibt right? But off course you don't care if a few members lose their jobs just to boost Tim's profile!
Tim resign!... And put the members first!...

The driver who was starting early, which started the chain of events. Will most likely get his job back in arbitration, maybe two/three weeks off. But the 250 that walked, we all know are gone. If you read the arbitrator ruling from the last walk out. The company has sole discretion to discharge all those drivers. All the signatures in the world will not help. Even the Pope can not stop it. The way I see it, Tim has to fire Liam and Dave to try and save the 250 drivers. UPS may go for that. But I also believe UPS will get rid of any driver on that list they have had issues with. It's a terrible situation, drivers will be hurt, the question is how many.

No drivers need to be hurt... The IBT needs to grow a pair!

How in the world can the driver in question even think of taking his job back if even one of his former co-workers loses their job simply for supporting him?

There is no way UPS will accept a 250 for 1 (or 2) deal.

That’s Craptacular

So, you wouldn't walk out to support your fired coworker, but you'll pass judgement on him?

Back on topic. We can not stand for the firing of 250 drivers. Hoffa needs to put on his big boy pants and say "hey, we sold our members a sub standard contract, now give us those jobs back" or the unlimited extension is off the table...tell that to your shareholders!

We all know 250 drivers will not be walked out of the building. But yes, I have no doubt that ups will use this as an excuse to get rid of a handful of drivers that they have issues with.
