From what I understand, UPS owns the vending machine company in our area. Plenty of suckers give their hard-earned money right back to UPS through vending, regardless.

It's set up as a consumer scam; the logo on the machine is something like a rainbow, with a big sun and flowers and a neutral vending co. name.Why does that not surprise me in the least??
