Make the Teamsters dangerous again

The unions, not just ours, have fallen well shy of their old international goals ... and meanwhile capital has succeeded in dividing workers in any number of ways, including by 'nationality' ... as if the struggle of working people was any different across borders.
Most countries don't have things like the NLRB that protect a workers rights to organize.

leaders of both UPS and Teamsters are short-sighted and cant see the forest for the trees....jumping over dollars to pick up pennies....a waste.

They won't have to let scabs in. Companies will just it all through FedEx, USPS and Amazon instead.

The defeat of international organizing efforts goes back to WWI. As for the NLRB, it's better than nothing, but it would also be better to strike Taft-Hartley from the books.

good point...to be honest the teamsters did a lot of good for ups and will hopefully continue
Too much good, in fact. Even under Hoffa Sr. our ancestors were too well-behaved. (And of course, if you want/solicit the mafia's protection, you gotta be a reliable earner ...) :wink-very:

It is about advertisement on your website.
Thank.
I strongly question your business savviness when this is how you seek ad space.

Remember, the estimate is ~7% of the US GDP is carried by the system, and 3-4% of the global economy. It's a logistical bottleneck, the other carriers can't readily absorb UPS volume; collectively we have plenty of power, and we are not immediately replaceable as the company likes us to think ...

It started in the 60s in local and regional contracts, very few then had benefits
I paid full initiation and monthly dues and had full benefits...there was no going from pt to ft then and once you left school you had to quit or you were fired...also had to bring a form from the register each semester and give a copy to ups and one to the union.
