Note: the rest of normal folks who read this stuff, saw and heard truth. It's all here. The blood puddle(yes, puddle) stayed on the ground till the next day.
Another deflection....stings eh? You clowns are going to own this. You aren’t normal so…….deflect that
you sure have some ghosts you carry around, i think one of them looks like me carrying a handbrake around . might wanna let it go at some point man, what was this 2 years ago almost? my ups bosses are both helping me scope out a ups mail innovation job. a big opening happened and one of them wants it and I might get to interview for his job.Lol, settle down supertrucker. I was talking to you, referring to @11.19igrad who couldn't grasp the concept of the tensioner knob on a package car handbrake.
And although I appreciate the wit, I got my CDL 22 years ago, so I've turned a few tires.
Explanitorily helping.
actually the guy leaving started as a driver then went to MI, became transportation sup and wants easier job to focus on his young children. Todd has been with ups 17 years.you sure have some ghosts you carry around, i think one of them looks like me carrying a handbrake around . might wanna let it go at some point man, what was this 2 years ago almost? my ups bosses are both helping me scope out a ups mail innovation job. a big opening happened and one of them wants it and I might get to interview for his job.
Never said that.Yeah, because everyone knows a tragedy like this should only be used as a platform to tell everyone, "I told you so!"
Such a sad man.
Did you ever tell the story to your new bosses about how you got fired for not knowing how to use a handbrakeactually the guy leaving started as a driver then went to MI, became transportation sup and wants easier job to focus on his young children. Todd has been with ups 17 years.
Guy is a like the Nostradamus of UPS.Oh, you warned that one of the largest transportation companies would have someone ignore safety procedures and have an incident resulting in death? Way to go out on a limb.
Very sad. I work in the Nassau building and I heard from a feeder driver that there was fatality in the Suffolk building not far from me. Be careful out there. UPS could care lessA guard was killed in my District a day ago during inbound. This was just a matter of time. I'll blame the company and driver for being too lax. When the company took keys out of the guards hands....the outcome was certain. Here, Covid just guaranteed it. Smoke signals, wink and nod is not the way to run semi's and people in close proximity. Our Company is completely out of control. This is a result of that policy. We didn't even get a global message....
Like load retainers....a matter of time with a total lack of security. A tragedy waiting to happen. Deliberate indifference kills. Ignorance and apathy of the Company, drivers, Union and Security Company will kill again.
That sucks.Take this to the bank:
Railbox inbound. Ball seal upper fig 8. Guard cuts lower ball. Driver sees this(mirrors)and watches Guard walk off...thinks all clear. Leaves. Except Guard on top of ladder. Apparently got the Ladder when driver not looking. Ladder has no safety bar or chain do to damage from a previous blow over. Oops. Guard is elderly. Pulling away is enough for Guard to take a header from the very top. Laid there most of an hour before spotted.....this straight from the top(Division).
Driver never knew until taken out of service at destination hub. Hour later. Yes, departed totally unaware. Sunday evening. 7pm ish
If you let them make it just about production they will. It's always been just about production.
