Marty's retiring

Ok…back to business. Does anyone actually know if Marty is still alive and kicking???

I couldn't find anything online

On line article mentioned that he retired in 2009 at the age of 87....If he is still kicking he would be around (101 years old)..today...

Did over 60 years service at UPS and enjoyed so far 14 years of retirement if he is alive....
Well at least he has/had the resources for a long term stay at a nursing home.

Still not right considering his wife is around the same age...and will only get half or none of his retirement benefits.

Guess who won on that scenario...:tiesmiley:

He got remarried and started a new family. He couldn't handle "the mouth" after a few months and decided to seek refuge at his 2nd career. Still working and looking for some drinking buddies.

Do you need an air compressor or tire gauge
Marty Peters, UPS's overall number 1 seniority guy is retiring after 63 years of service. I have had the pleasure of talking with Marty on several occasions. Of course they were short conversations because he is an all business type of guy. First time I met him was right after his 60th anniversary and I had read the article in Teamster magazine. We talked a little and I told him I was honored to meet him and he acted like it was no big deal. The one thing he said that sticks with me is "Believe me, it hasn't been easy but the bank always cashes the check."
Bet he is dead now
