I understand what "shall not be infringed means," I'll assume more eloquent, educated, intelligent men, steeped in more wisdom than any of us, myself included, were well aware what they penned.

That said they did not forsee what our nation would devolve into.
Or maybe they did.

My first idea is the dissolution of all gun free zones, buy definition that is in direct opposition of the Second Amendment, a right they determined to come from God.

The state (government) does not grant this right, they affirmed it came from our Maker.

And codified it.
