was it because the the climate warmed up and man no longer needed his fur to survive?
If so why didnt other animals living in the same time period and same regions also lose their fur.
If we're all supposedly evolved from the same amoeba cells than we should have identical or near identical evolution traits.

You should ask @Fred's Myth, he said he believes in evolution. I said I am open to the possibility, but even if life evolves, it's unlikely that it happens the way most people believe it does. I believe in adaptation, which is the change in concentration of particular genes in a population over time.

What's a generation, 20, 25 years? 24 years between world wars, about 56 years between WW1 and Vietnam. Our wars since then have been relatively minor. Pretty hard to make the case that the gene pool was significantly damaged.

Families used to be much bigger. A fellow that died in the world wars usually had siblings with similar genetics. So again, statistically some effect, but not to the extent you're claiming.

I never claimed an extent. I only said over a century of nearly constant war has thinned the herd of people who are likely to stand up to tyranny. Anything you read into that beyond what I claimed is you arguing with yourself. Again.

And personally I want people to stop being so paranoid, so devisive, learn to live and let live. Because all that anger that occasionally shows up like the fellows who got arrested in Idaho yesterday does nothing to advance our cause of a united nation. I absolutely don't like the direction the Left is trying to take us. I despise a lot of what they value. But I don't want to kill anyone over it.

Every fiber of my being absolutely, vehemently disagrees with your entire opinion on this matter.

And I mean that with all due respect.

Many times in the past, I have placed the source of this trend on the closures of mental health facilities, the coinciding beginning birth years of the Millennial generation, the watershed moment of Columbine, and the subsequent generations and perpetrators that followed.

We have neglected the needs of the mentally ill for so long that I do not have a viable solution other than the ugly, slippery slope of rounding up those with documented, inheritable mental health problems, and mental health evaluations of their descendants.

That would take awhile. And as with every other plan under this administration, would undoubtedly be purposely corrupted to persecute those who are white, heterosexual, and male.

The problem is that the inmates are running the asylum, the ones who would be rounded up are the ones they consider mentally ill or terrorists. You know, like parents who don't want CRT taught in school, or their children taught that they probably need to have their genitals removed.

I would like to amend my opinion about the above solutions that I suggested as my participation in this thread.

My amendment includes my 2 above suggestions, I stand by them ad 1 suggestion this in addition:

Because of the difficulty individuals appear to have with reconciling the second amendment of the US Constitution with adequate and thorough gun regulation I firmly believe that the 2nd Amendment has outlived its intent and purpose and should be repealed. I believe this would enable a more reasonable amendment to address responsible gun ownership and protection of the innocent.

I hope you are able to welcome my opinion with open arms. Even if you don’t view it favorably.
