I would like to amend my opinion about the above solutions that I suggested as my participation in this thread.

My amendment includes my 2 above suggestions, I stand by them ad 1 suggestion this in addition:

Because of the difficulty individuals appear to have with reconciling the second amendment of the US Constitution with adequate and thorough gun regulation I firmly believe that the 2nd Amendment has outlived its intent and purpose and should be repealed. I believe this would enable a more reasonable amendment to address responsible gun ownership and protection of the innocent.

I hope you are able to welcome my opinion with open arms. Even if you don’t view it favorably.

What about raising the age to 21 to legally buy a firearm?

Correct I enjoy talking to all kinds of people on this site @rickyb @bbsam etc. not because I always agree with them but because they are who they are and I believe they genuinely believe what they say, not so much the person in question. Like shifting sand, and enjoys reactions, similar to an arsonist watching a building burn.
