The neighbor and I have decided to stare at his broken fence for awhile tomorrow; fixing it might happen, but a good staring is a sure thing.

I was walking up to an old farmhouse and heard what I thought were peacocks. Turns out it was an old lady yelling "help, help, help". I walked in the house and she was laying on the floor; don't know how long she had been laying there. She was out of breath from yelling, but I got out of her that I needed to call some people. I asked where her phone was and she said she didn't have one. I told her to stay put and I would go out to the package car to use mine. As I was calling 911, I flagged down her neighbor down the road and told him what was going on. We went back inside and I cleared it with him that it was ok for me to leave.
I was glad to get out of there- the smell was pretty bad and there must have been a thousand gnats flying around----inside the house.
In the 4 years I've had this route, I've only been to this house once before; never inside.
It did feel good to be in the right place at the right time. I know who is responsible for that, but Mr FedEx doesn't want me to talk about Him.

You cannot demand respect anymore than you can demand a paycheck. It has to be earned. And for the treatment, well nobody has figured that out. But I'll ask God again tonight why life isn't fair.
I wish it was that simple. I had an issue here where I felt I was treated unfairly. I complained as one should do when they feel so. Those who have watched me post over the years you know a point I always come back to is that you demand respect and you demand fair treatment. The response has been to cut all my privledges and then to ban me for a week. No private messages, everything I do here is heavily censored. Under those conditions my posts may show up hours after I actually make them. Under those rules its impossible for me to participate here. I make a post and the conversation if heated sometimes has moved on to the next page before my response is approved and shows up. I wont post under those rules. This is not work nor school where some subjective person gets to decide whether my contribution to this site should be allowed. Its a message board with opinionated posters. thanks to those who have supported me over the years. Over9 that send him a private message response was a classic. I laughed my ass off at that one. Hubrat I love the duck pictures you are awesome. AJ as always I have so much respect for your zest, vigor and sense of humor in the face of some pretty daunting challenges. Neighbor brought over a freshly bagged wild turkey last night. I grilled it up. Breast was pretty good and dark meat was horrible. I'll stick with the store bought version.
