There is nothing so simple & so delicious as buttered noodles !!

Try this...take regular mac and cheese using half the cheese sauce. Add a little milk and butter.mix, slowly crumble 8yr old cheddar cheese to taste.
It gets all stringy like pizza, and goes nice with freshly buttered French or Italian bread

One of my fav cheap and easy meals is ziti, pepper jack cheese, butter milk, seasonings, boiled cut green beans and sliced hotdogs or sausage. I also add a little hot sauce to the milk to blend in and spice up even more. Sometimes I'll make bread crumbs from scratch for topping.

prepare everything seperately then put it together into a baking dish, in for 45 min covered then 20 uncovered @ 350. Spicy baked ziti!

I love to cook my steaks, ribs, baked potatoes, Mac & cheese, brats, and beef ribs in beer. This gives it that distinguished taste.

For those folks like myself who can't afford anything except a loaf of bread and a dollar, try the Anything-but-Shrimp flavored Ramen noodles on bread. It's about eighty cents a pack, they taste decent, and produce acceptable nutrition levels.

Since It's Memorial Day Weekend,. My Son's Best friend friend/B us and he's finally getting out of aghanistan. Coming home. We are planning a huge ass party for him w/ 20 marines, BBQ, beer pong ect. I think of my father my grandfather and Will at this time and realize how many people have died. Although I love a 3 day weekend. Send a prayer for those who have died and for those who protect us. Thank you for sending him home. when so many have not made it!!

Pot pies usually aren't that much more expensive than ramen, but have far more nutritional value.

My personal favorite cheap and simple meal is egg noodles and cottage cheese with some butter mixed in. For less than $10 I can make enough of it to eat for a couple days.

Boil ramen noodles (drain and don't add the seasoning), mix in raw egg, sliced green onions (or any other veggie such as shredded carrots, bell peppers or diced mushrooms). Fry in olive oil (like pancakes). Put a dab of soy sauce on it. MMMMM MMMMMM Goood!

My ex-wife's family spent time in Japan while in the service. She would always call Ramen noodles "osoba". She would always call me something else.
I can't help myself............................ nope never mind. I'm sure we really don't want to know.

Well, maybe some of us.

Nope, never mind. :happy-very:
