Had to send a box to Hawaii........the contents fit in a USPS box that cost $10 and change. The same size by UPS was over $40. WTH??

Not sure, but in using the P.O. before, it took 2 days. I've sent it a week ahead of time, so no rush. I'll let you know when it gets there.

I almost forgot.....I also went to the P.O. for stamps. She said they were all out of stamps. What !!?? I never heard of that. She said that the ONE person in charge of ordering the stamps was on vacation. You would think somebody would be assigned to do the ordering to cover vacations. That stamp-ordering person must be one special person.

Everybody in line in front of me was there for stamps too. This is the efficiency that is the government.

I don't know. I've never had a problem before. I ship well in advance of the occasion. I would always like to ship UPS, but when the difference in cost is soooooo big, I can't choose then. Now if it was just FDX and UPS.....I would ship UPS.
