Meaningless Fluff

The world outside this thread is a hateful, spiteful, bile-filled place which rarely merits any serious thought or contemplation.

And that includes my own posts, as well.

As such, whoever can begin the manufacture and distribution of 'Meaningless Fluff' blankets that one can wrap oneself in, will undoubtedly be rich.

I want one!!

I need a "Meaningless Fluff" blanket!!!

This thread is like the snow covered sidewalk in front of my house.
While shoveling the sidewalk, my neighbor came out with snowblower and helped clear the sidewalk.
No words needed, just a knowing shared glance...
The snowblower is too big for the path to his house but my shovel works well...
He pushes the heavy machine and I gather the salt bucket...silently, I spread the salt the entire length of the sidewalk...
We work as a team in silence.

The neighbors on the left and right side of me both have giant farm tractors with plows; on the contrary, I have a plastic scoop on a stick.

I've never asked either of them to plow my driveway - and, mind you, my brother is married to one of their daughters. However, when we had that real blizzard with two feet of snow ... I was driving home from UPS at about 11am and dreading the contortions I would have to engage in to clear off my driveway. When I arrived home, the driveway was plowed; neither of them have admitted who have done it yet. It's a neighborhood secret.

Teamwork makes the dream work.

Edit: 9PM on Saturday, quoting Star Trek 2 on a UPS employment board. I am either geek incarnate, or I need to get laid. Perhaps, both?

It's all about angles of insertion coupled with cycle frequency being congruent with bio-rythmic patterns.
