I can remember actually having to walk to the TV to turn it on and then having to choose between UHF and VHF.
Rabbit ears and a loop antenna. They we got all fancy and got a rotor antenna. Lol

I have programmed my cable remote to turn everything on and off. In a pinch I could get off my butt, walk the 4' and turn them on manually .
