I use my leftover steaks for a burrito for lunch, the following day.

Exactly. You don't grill a separate steak and reheat it the next day to consume.
You might as well eat rubber.

You grill one and eat it. If you want one the next day, you marinate it overnight and grill again.

You sure don't BBQ steak. Wtf is that???

So rather than fire up the grill once for two smaller steaks (<8 ozs ea) I should fire it up two days in a row?

Whenever I cook I make enough for at least two meals, one that I consume right away and the second the following night. I come home, put a beer in the freezer, take a shower and heat up the leftovers.

The last thing that I want to do after a long, hot day at work is cook.

While that may not be good enough for you grilling afficionados it is good enough for me and that is all that really matters.

Nothing wrong with that I eat leftovers all the time
