We watched The Equalizer last night before tuning into the Oscars.

"A man believes he has put his mysterious past behind him and has dedicated himself to beginning a new, quiet life. But when he meets a young girl under the control of ultra-violent Russian gangsters, he can't stand idly by - he has to help her."

This movie was OK.....Denzel's movies are usually watchable....like Liam's too.

Master of Karate and Friendship for Everyone
Watched Kingsman: The Secret Service, well written, lots of action, moves right along. Great popcorn flick.
Good to know. I've been wanting to see that one for the past week but weather's been less than cooperative. Maybe I'll get out there this weekend.

The Equalizer was pretty good, had a lil Man On Fire flavor to it but not as good, but decent yes.

Yup I thought so too, Denzel played those 2 characters pretty much the same. Man on Fire was a great book, they made some really fundamental plot changes in the movie which I didn't care for but if you never read the book you wouldn't know about them and the movie was still good.

Wyrmwood was surprisingly good. Basically a Mad Max/zombie hybrid type movie but surprising well made for a low budget independent Australian film. Not great but much better than most of the indie crap I have seen.

Against the Sun. Good movie that kind of got overlooked since it is another WW2 survival movie that had the bad luck of being released soon after Unbroken.

Watched Horrible Bosses 2.....

"Dale, Kurt and Nick decide to start their own business but things don't go as planned because of a slick investor, prompting the trio to pull off a harebrained and misguided kidnapping scheme."

It was very funny in parts....but not as good as the first one. That's usually the case with these sequels.

We rented "Ouija"(the redemption). Waste of a rental!!
We stopped watching it at about 15 minutes in. Terrible acting. Cheesy scare tactics. Really boring!!

The last 3 I watched were:

John Wick----Keanu Reeves---terrible--basically 2 hours of people gewtting shot and the hero dodging millions of bullets.

Vice----Bruce Willis-----TERRIBLE----- If you ever saw West World with Yule Brenner its just a POOR remake of that.

Nightcrawler---????------I enjoyed it--wife hated it.
