i always enjoy a good nonsense fantasy and you never dissapoint.
What is quite clear is that you believe that the executive branch is a monarchy and that the legislative and judicial branches march in line behind it answering to the executive branch's every beckon call. Every once in awhile history reminds that this is not the case and the events that have unfolded recently and likely in the near future could reaffirm that fact.

I don't think you've been paying attention, what I believe is that I am paying my hard earned tax dollars for politicians to grand stand and play reindeer games

congress has a right to exercise oversight they do not have a right to go on fishing expeditions for political gain

I think this whole process over oversight is overdone and far outside what the framers of the constitution envisioned

I don't just blame the dems in the house but the republicans too. oversight has become a political weapon and a huge waste of time and expense

since Nixon nothing significant has come of it, Washington politicians have become the keystone cops

they investigate everything to death and never charge anyone with anything

The investigations are never meant to find anything but to allow a political show.

Can't recall hearing you voicing the same sentiments when it came to the Hillary Clinton investigation.

Trump, Putin discussed Mueller report and agreed no collusion, White House says
Hold the phone. I guess there was no collusion.
Trump and Putin say so
The president appeared to grow agitated when a reporter questioned him on whether he had warned Putin against interfering in future elections.
“Mr. President, did you tell him not to meddle in the next election?” a reporter asked.
“Excuse me, I’m talking, I'm answering this question. You are very rude. So we had a good conversation about several different things,” Trump said.
When another reporter pressed again on whether he warned Putin against future interference, Trump replied: “We didn't discuss that.”

Question answered.
We do know the response when Obama "sternly" told them to stop.

It's saved.
