If your cities minimum wage is higher then the UPS Teamster contract they have to pay you the higher amount. Most likely a mistake by payroll and you should be made whole.

I do find their timing on all of this interesting, especially considering there are so many open jobs in the country that start out at a higher wage than here. I personally think they know that they are going to get pressured by OZ to up the wages on the next contract and thus leveling out the wages now. They aren’t going to be dealing with Hoffa anymore and Oz could be totally unpredictable when the negotiations start…jmo on all of this.
