As word of this pause floats upstairs to the ivory tower rest assured that carol will send the orders down for making a reasonable settlement. Too much $$$ riding on this to let us walk.

What pissed me off during that time was management received a $1000 bonus and all they did, at least in my building, was hide in an office. To chicken to even let us get on our bid routes.

Ha! That still makes me angry. Remember that time when we got to choose yearly safety awards out of the book instead of now receiving a piece of paper.

The good news here is it looks like we’re mostly fighting over money, most of the other things the company and the union are in agreement. Pretty normal for the first offer on each side to be high and low respectively. Let’s see what happens in the next couple weeks.
