but they would have to give in to every demand without any negotiation or changes. I would hope the union would see that happening and at that point ask for absurdly insane things to curb it. It really goes both ways as it keeps the union in check with absurd demands, as well as the company negotiating in good faith without the fallback of just kicking out the union.Seems like it'd be an easy way for the Co. to essentially drop the union.
"Okay here you go guys, all your demand with the exception of fair raises. Ohhh, unfair wage strike? Bring in the scabs, sorry guys bye bye"
Oh im not worried either but that offer should be an eye opener to everyone on how much the company cares about them.I’m not really worried about it until we get into crunch time if they’re still holding out, which I don’t think they will be and I’ll be a little more upset, I think O’Brien made the company very aware that’s not acceptable.
Anyone who thought the company cared about them hasn’t been paying attention. Lots of people complain about the union, but without it this place would be a nightmare.Oh im not worried either but that offer should be an eye opener to everyone on how much the company cares about them.
That was me last Peak.Absolutely. I remember delivery packages at 10 at night in a rental with zero area knowledge. Only to come back to the building and told I have 3 hours of availability on Saturday and need to show up.
