No disagreement from me, but I have no idea what the other proposals that were not agree too were. Only the fact that they were giving flexibility for vacation days to be used as sick or call in days. Personally for me I would love it because it would be Friday or Monday. Extending my weekends as I already have seven weeks of vacation would give me more days off if I chose that route.
I know I’m in a unique situation that my wife gets 8 weeks of vacation so I don’t split weeks. But 2-3 sick days per year should be an extremely low bar to clear.

We can only split one week here, I didn’t realize in some places you could split up two weeks, that is nice
It is, and it isn’t, basically, the company can tell you at any time that you can’t use the day, due to staffing issues. Naturally people call in anyway and the company tries to discipline. We have successfully argued if they pay someone they cannot also discipline.
