New device inside pkg truck

No, seriously. I was all caught up with my work one day, after my hub had implemented an RFID system. So, I grabbed a scanner to look for misloads, because I got on well with my boxline Supe, and scanning and searching 50 trucks by yourself is unrealistic. A building manager saw me doing it and threw a fit, saying that it was supervisor work only. It's like they want to fail.

That wand thing went away pretty quickly, it just didn’t work.

It alerted you that a misloads was present, then you had to find it. Then the little brown boxes on both sides of the door. They were supposed to notify the preloader of they entered a package car with a misload. Never implemented. It's frustrating to those of us that actually GAF.

Using the wand is 'supervisor work only'? Okay. Moving a package off of the truck is 'union work only'. Once a supervisor uses the wand to identify a misload are they reporting it to a member of our bargaining unit so that a teamster can advance the package thru the system? If not, then what exactly does the supervisor do with that package?
