Nope it was the early 80s when they stopped paying the same amount. And why would you care about full-time work? You’ve never done it. Seems it worked out just the way you want it.
No it was the early 60's when the Union allowed the company to hire PT Union members. 1982 was the start of the 2 tier wage concession.

We’re talking about the Pay not the hours. Like I said you didn’t care about the hours your whole career, so why are you making a big deal about it?

Your building must never have staffing issues because this would never work in our building. Our part timers tell us when they work and we file. I am amazed you have done this so long!

How many other Unions allow PT workers to work right next to FT workers at half the pay? Could you imagine if the UAW allowed Ford or GM to have PT assembly workers making $15/hr? Let alone allow 2/3 of their workforce to be PT. It is just another wage concession.

LOL....You're literally the only one going on about this. PTers don't deserve what FT workers receive. Plain and simple and forever it will be.

Never used to be like this. The FT jobs and the good wages are slowly going away. Don't matter to me as I have already made my money and retirement. Just feeling bad for all of the FT and PT Union members that follow. Can't say you were not warned.
