Newly hired at $10 an hour. Are old workers still making $8.50?

My sup told me that the contract has been renewed and I'll be making $10 an hour. Lucky me. But i hope there's no hidden agenda here. Will there be a change in how many raises I'll get? Will my benefits be the same? Where can I find the contract?
