Some of those back pay checks were ridiculous…company wasn’t very happy about those…

The only ones that received the back pay were a few high seniority PT that won a 22.3 bid. The majority of 22.3 jobs were taken by FT delivery drivers and did not receive a retro check.

Yep.

They won backdated full-time seniority and backpay.

And.... a newly created full-time job.

The new 22.3 jobs paid less than the PT jobs they replaced.

Yes but very few. The company made PT pay for supporting the strike.

Most of the centers in my state are one belt Morton buildings with a gravel lot. I work at the exception that is also the largest Hub in the state. Half of my buildings sorts are 22.3 Union members. Twilight, Midnight and Preload.

I agree, that used to be the case.


As much as @PT Car Washer would like us to believe.... the majority of PT folks are not financially savvy

entrepreneur's, just looking to supplement their income and be provided with Healthcare.


Some are not the breadwinners in their family and are contributing to the cause. Other's have family situations

that can't be addressed by working more hours. Not everyone is cut out for the physical part of the job....


The PT members need to be brought above prevailing wage.

UPS needs to to make the PT folks proud of having an above average paying PT job.


Just like it used to be @PT Car Washer....
