Probably a timer inside your TV set to die after a year. Lol.


Wouldn't surprise me a bit. I bought a new battery for my Honda ATV years ago at the Honda shop that cost 89 bucks and was guaranteed for a year --it lasted one year and one week and the dealer said tuff :censored2:. That's when I converted it to accept a regular riding mower battery that you can get for a 20 dollar bill and they usually last about 3 or 4 years.

I had a problem with a Sony that would have ultimately been a cheap fix.

Samsungs are supposed to be among the best flat-screens.


That's what we were lead to believe by the friendly salesman at Costco. I suppose it could have been something with Direct TV too but then again the tv in the bedroom worked fine so probably not.
