That was what it was like. Everyone pulled together and chipped in to help. Politics didn't take over until later.

I'll never forget that fundraiser. The amount of people was crazy. People were showing up with pickup truck beds loaded with Gatorade and snacks. His employees all volunteered to help. It was like holy crap. This country is amazing.

The planes hit about the time package cars are just leaving the building. 8:50 or so I think, then 15 minutes later for 2nd plane. First tower collapsed about 9:45 and second tower at 10:30. Approximate times.
